At the heart of the work we do is the concept of partnership and co-operation.

 

The Romanian connection is a great example of this. Our relationship with Paul Davies of Everyone’s Child Romania gives us a tremendous opportunity to change lives.

 

Currently we raise funds for winter fuel each Christmas and are sponsoring a family. The mum died of a brain tumor in 2013, leaving her young husband to raise their 4 children.

 

This is a vital part of our work, because it gives people in difficult circumstances in our community the chance to make a difference in the life of someone that they consider worse off than themselves.

 

Often when circumstances put a person in a position of dependency, they feel robbed of dignity. The ability to contribute to the support of someone else is empowering.
